Trial period: June 23, 2025, to September 22, 2025

During the test period, rapid alerting was used only for incidents involving the smell of smoke, smoke development, and fires in buildings. This was done with the proviso that the system could be dismantled promptly in the event of any problems. However, no problems occurred during the test period. The analysis revealed a significant reduction in dispatch time of 74 seconds across 63 rapid response calls evaluated.
In four cases, dispatch times were very long, exceeding 5 minutes. After consulting with the respective dispatchers, it was determined that there were issues with address retrieval, emergency call retrieval in general, and/or dispatch due to concurrent operations.

However, according to the dispatchers, these issues were resolved without incident, as the rapid response system had been triggered early on following the B2-building alarm code.

If these four incidents are excluded from the analysis, the average dispatch time is reduced by 63 seconds.
The standard dispatch time (from emergency call receipt to alerting, excluding rapid alerting) averaged 124 seconds; with rapid alerting, this figure dropped to an average of 61 seconds.

The rapid alert system was implemented and will continue to be used following the trial period. Discussions are currently underway regarding its expansion to include fire safety, technical assistance, and emergency medical services.

In wonderful sunshine, our 2025 User Conference took place at the Hotel Das Weitblick in Marktoberdorf.
More than 70 users from over 15 control centers across German-speaking regions followed our invitation to the Allgäu.

For two days, professional and personal exchange was the central focus. Our participants were able to learn about current topics and developments, make new connections, and take away valuable impulses for their daily work in the control centers.

Professional Highlights

A heartfelt thank you goes to our speakers, who provided valuable food for thought with their inspiring contributions. Topics such as Artificial Intelligence, e-Call, resilience in the control center, as well as practical reports from everyday operations, not only offered insights but also sparked lively discussions and new perspectives.

A particular highlight was the presentation of our new quality management system DIASEVL. As the most advanced system for standardized emergency call interrogation, DIASEVL offers innovative ways to capture and further improve quality in the control center. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from our customers has encouraged us to continue on this path with determination.

Exchange and Networking

In addition to the professional program, the social side was not neglected. At the Bavarian Evening, participants had the opportunity to engage in conversations in a relaxed atmosphere, deepen existing contacts, and make new ones. The personal exchange was just as enriching as the professional discussions and inspired many new ideas for the future.

Outlook

Our 2025 User Conference has shown how valuable direct exchange within the community is and how we can shape the emergency call work of tomorrow together.

We thank all participants and speakers for their commitment and are already looking forward to the next User Conference!
